About You:
You’re a technically-minded and commercially savvy leader with industry exposure spanning concrete, quarries, or adjacent sectors such as steel reinforcing, tiles, blockwork, or brickwork. You will likely have industry exposure in both sales and operations, making you a well-rounded professional who can step seamlessly into this technical yet commercially focused role. You have a proven track record of growing product categories and influencing senior stakeholders through clear communication and strong leadership. Your commercial acumen allows you to effectively benchmark pricing, articulate financial insights, and develop go-to-market strategies that drive both revenue and market share. You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating agility and foresight. Your experience extends to working in environments where sustainability and environmental standards are a key focus, making you familiar with frameworks such as Green Star ratings and carbon-neutral objectives. You are known for your upbeat, adaptable mindset and thrive in tackling challenges head-on, viewing every obstacle as an opportunity to innovate and improve.
About the Opportunity:
This newly created role offers the chance to take full ownership of a diverse and highly technical product portfolio. You’ll be managing the complete lifecycle of a range of innovative products across the concrete and quarry categories, from ideation and development through to market success. This is a unique opportunity to act as a ‘mini CEO’ of these product lines, making strategic decisions and driving operational rollouts in collaboration with leaders in marketing, technical, sales and operations. You’ll be working on multiple projects simultaneously, such as revitalizing a decorative concrete product line to capture new market segments or leading the commercialisation of a cutting-edge, AI-driven product optimization tool. You’ll not only be responsible for technical product development but also for implementing sales training, creating marketing strategies, and setting clear performance targets to ensure each product’s success. The role offers exposure to key internal and external stakeholders, and you’ll be actively contributing to industry standards development and sustainability initiatives. You will also have the opportunity to represent the business on influential committees and industry groups, positioning yourself as a key leader and advocate for innovation and best practices.
