About the Opportunity
This opportunity is designed for someone who enjoys the challenge of opening doors, uncovering opportunities others have missed and creating long-term commercial partnerships from the ground up. Working within a highly successful national organisation, you will play a key role in driving growth across Queensland and the Northern Territory, building relationships with customers who may not yet know they need a better solution.
This is a role where curiosity, commercial thinking and initiative will set you apart. You will have the freedom to shape your territory, build your own pipeline and engage directly with decision-makers across a broad range of organisations. Every day will look different. One meeting may involve helping a customer solve a complex operational challenge, while the next could be uncovering a future opportunity that will not come to market for another 12 months.
Supported by sophisticated systems, a strong lead generation engine and an experienced sales leader, you will focus on developing strategic opportunities, influencing stakeholders and converting relationships into long-term commercial outcomes. With deal values typically ranging from $200k to $1M, this is a role that rewards thoughtful planning, persistence and the ability to see the bigger picture.
About You
You are a commercially minded B2B sales professional who enjoys building opportunities from the ground up. You are naturally curious, ask insightful questions and know how to uncover customer challenges that others may miss. Rather than relying on transactional selling, you take a strategic approach to developing relationships, influencing decision-makers and creating long-term value.
Your background may come from industrial services, facilities management, technical services, compliance services, labour solutions, manufacturing, building products, construction-related industries, waste services or other complex B2B environments where consultative selling and stakeholder management are critical to success. Exposure to tenders, proposals, contracts or project-based sales environments is advantageous.
