About the opportunity 

You will take ownership of a national multi-site operation within a privately owned, Australian engineering and manufacturing services business that is performing well, with strong foundations, a respected reputation, and clear runway for growth. The opportunity is not to rebuild, but to elevate. 

You will step into a role with full P&L responsibility, accountable for driving performance across revenue, margin, and operational execution. As the senior leader, you will align strategy with execution, building on a solid platform to create a more connected, consistent, and high-performing operating rhythm across the business. You will operate with a high level of visibility and influence, working closely with the Managing Director to shape direction and drive outcomes across the entire business. 

About you 

You are a proven leader who has taken ownership of complex operations and elevated performance. You understand how to build on a solid platform and take it to the next level through clarity, structure, and disciplined execution. 

Your background spans engineering, manufacturing, industrial services, or any similar asset-intensive, project-based environment where delivery and coordination matter. You bring proven experience leading multi-site operations, holding full P&L accountability, and aligning cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes. 

You are commercially astute, grounded in numbers, and confident making decisions that balance margin, delivery, and growth. You lead from the front, stay close to the operation, and build credibility through action. You are structured, metrics-driven, and comfortable setting clear expectations and lifting performance.
