A leading national professional services company is seeking an articulate and commercially curious Business Development Manager with a sharp focus on creating new business opportunities and building trusted relationships with executive-level decision-makers.

About the Role:
This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career who is eager to learn the ropes in a premium B2B environment. You’ll be responsible for identifying prospective clients, initiating meaningful conversations, and booking qualified meetings. You’ll be representing a high-integrity brand and working closely with experienced executive search professionals to open the door to high-value engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify target companies, executives, and strategic opportunities
- Craft compelling sales outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Qualify and book new business meetings for our senior consultants
- Maintain and grow your top-of-funnel sales pipeline
- Track all activity in CRM and contribute to team reporting
- Leverage marketing campaigns and market insights to drive lead flow
- Stay informed on leadership changes, industry trends, and hiring signals
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in B2B business development, professional services sales, or client-facing roles
- Excellent verbal and written communication, confident engaging senior stakeholders
- Commercially aware, confident, and driven to exceed KPIs
- Curious, structured thinker with a genuine interest in leadership and business
- Degree-qualified in business or related field (preferred)
- Exposure to recruitment or executive search (advantageous)
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CRM tools (advantageous)
- Must be Brisbane-based and available to work in-office 2–3 days/week (daily during onboarding)
