About the Opportunity
This is a commercial transformation mandate wrapped inside a strategic integration challenge and it’s for those with the appetite to lead at pace. You’ll step into a newly created, high-impact role at the heart of one of Australia’s most significant essential services organisations. As Commercial Finance Manager, you’ll be one of three integration leads responsible for the full financial and commercial integration of two powerhouse businesses. 

You’ll own the financial heartbeat of the integration – designing the synergy framework, leading financial planning and cost control, and overseeing the integration of ERP, TM1, procurement, tax, treasury, insurance, and more. Weekly finance integration working groups will run under your lead, supported by Heads of Function and embedded subject matter experts. What makes this role extraordinary is the scope and visibility. You’ll partner with high-level stakeholders to shape reporting to executives and the ASX. You’ll be hands-on in defining synthetic P&Ls, driving accountability, and setting the benchmark for how integration should be done in an ASX environment. This is for a bold, energetic, commercially-minded finance leader who’s ready to step into the centre of influence. 

About You
With a CA or CPA qualification under your belt, you bring a strong analytical rigour but are also wired for a fast-paced business – not just numbers. You have moved well beyond traditional accounting – you’re a strategist, a fixer, and a builder. You’ve led in complex or ambiguous environments where pace is high and structure is evolving. You’re commercial, hands-on, an excellent communicator, and thrive on creating clarity from complexity. 

You come from service-based environments such as industrial services, logistics, transport, utilities or anywhere where operations are broad, assets are high, and moving parts are many. You’ve either led integration before or you’re hungry for the challenge – confident that your mindset, resilience, and commercial instinct are exactly what it takes to make it a success. You influence without authority, think in systems not silos, and you’re motivated by visibility, progression, and impact.
