About the opportunity:
As a motivated Account Manager, you have the opportunity to join a leading ASX100 listed player in the industrial/heavy industry sector. You will inherit an established account portfolio in a diverse market. The role requires a proactive and high-touch account management focus and new business development element, with a high level of adaptability required to navigate the dynamic and competitive market landscape. You will be provided with extensive training and support to handle all contracts, client set-up’s, pricing and quoting processes, and actively engage with prospects and clients in the field. A key element will be for you to monitor and analyse competitors’ activities, in order to propose a value add from a service perspective and drive growth.
About You:
You are a forward-thinking professional with diverse sales and account management experience, ideally within the industrial/heavy industry sectors, however all backgrounds considered as full training will be provided. You will have proven success in a sales role, combined with a customer and relationship focus to nurture and grow existing client accounts. You can demonstrate an understanding of sales cycles, along with knowledge of pricing, margins, and sales dynamics. Possessing innate networking skills, you excel at cultivating valuable professional relationships and exhibit personable and charismatic traits for quick rapport.
